“Home sweet home” Ian breathed as Kimberly parked in the driveway after gulping down the rest of his coke.

He got out of the car, taking in his surrounding once again after being away for so long.

“We can get that later” he replied with a wide smile

She quickly interlaced their fingers as they walked to the porch. She unlocked the door and they went in.

“I had the whole place cleaned up” Kimberly said as they were currently in the living room.

“No wonder it looks so clean” Ian said now walking into the kitchen, studying the place like he just bought it.

Kimberly knew he was just trying to get familiar with his home all over again. He does that every time, so this wasn’t a new sight, she was already used to it. Ian then resurfaced from the kitchen.

“Let’s get you settled in” she said, taking his hand and leading him upstairs.

When they got to the bedroom, Kimberly dropped her purse on the nightstand and went over to the glass door to open the curtains. Their bedroom was cream colored with walls made of tiles, the floor was completely covered with a fluffy rug, it has a fireplace directly across the king sized bed with a large bathroom and a walk in closet, there was a semi living area adjacent from the bed.

Kimberly was opening the glass door that led to the balcony to let in fresh air when she felt strong arms around her waist. She smiled at the touch, leaning in even more to feel him, his body pressed against hers.

“I missed you so much love” he whispered in her ear, pressing his lips on her neck, causing her to shiver.
